Whitchurch bridge toll

Whitchurch Bridge[1] is a toll road bridge over the River Thames in England. It carries the road between the villages of Pangbourne, Berkshire, and Whitchurch-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, and crosses the river on the reach above Mapledurham Lock, just before Whitchurch Lock. The bridge has a weight limit of 7.5 tonnes. The Whitchurch Bridge Company is empowered to collect Tolls to finance its operations.

Whitchurch Bridge Tolls may be collected at any time, but are normally collected only from 7 am until 9 pm on weekdays, 8 am to 8 pm on Saturdays, and 9 am to 8 pm on Sundays (all timings may vary by a few minutes). Tolls are collected at the Toll Booth at the Whitchurch-on-Thames (north) end of the Bridge.

Tolls may be paid in cash or through one of the Company’s concessionary prepayment systems which offer substantial discounts to Bridge users based on Bridge Cards (for vehicles not exceeding 3.5 tonnes mgw) and books of prepaid tickets (for vehicles exceeding 3.5 tonnes mgw).

The Whitchurch bridge Toll Calculator calculates toll and tolls for all other toll motorways, roads, bridges and tunnels in UK for cars, trucks, trailers, caravans, motorhomes and motorcycles for peak and off-peak hours.
