The 242-mile-long Ohio Turnpike[1], connects Chicago and Pittsburgh. At the western end, the turnpike meets the Indiana Toll Road, and the eastern end it terminates at the Ohio–Pennsylvania border near Petersburg, where it meets the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The road is owned and maintained by the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission (OTIC). Built prior to the Interstate system, the modern Ohio Turnpike is part of the three interstates: I-76, I-80, and I-90.
