Toll tunnels in New York connect New York with New Jersey and other metro areas within New York. For the tunnels that connect New York with New Jersey, tolls are only collected while entering New York. No tolls are collected while entering New Jersey.

Port Authority of NY and NJ tunnels

Holland Tunnel

The Holland Tunnel[1] is a vehicular tunnel under the Hudson River. It connects Lower Manhattan in New York City to the east, with Jersey City in New Jersey to the west. Tolls could be paid by E-ZPass or Toll by Mail.

Lincoln Tunnel

The Lincoln Tunnel[2] goes under the Hudson River and connects Weehawken, New Jersey, to the west with Midtown Manhattan in New York City to the east. There is no toll in the Lincoln Tunnel for passenger vehicles going from New York to New Jersey. Tolls are collected at a tollbooth on the New Jersey side, one way, only while entering Midtown Manhattan.

Hugh L Carey Tunnel (Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel)

The Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel[3] also known as the Hugh L Carey Tunnel is a tolled tunnel road in New York that connects Red Hook in Brooklyn with Battery Park in Manhattan. Tolls on the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel are via open road cashless tolling and are bi-directional. Tolls could be paid by E-ZPass or Toll-by-mail. E-ZPass users with transponders that are not issued by the New York E-ZPass CSC will be required to pay Toll-by-mail rates.

Queens Midtown Tunnel (2 Tubes)

The Queens-Midtown Tunnel[4] is a pair of tubes in New York City that runs under the East River. It connects the Boroughs of Manhattan and Queens. Tolls on the Queens Midtown Tunnel are via open road cashless tolling and are bi-directional. Tolls could be paid by E-ZPass or Toll by Mail. E-ZPass users with transponders that are not issued by the New York E-ZPass CSC will be required to pay Toll-by-mail rates.
