What is BreezeBy

The BreezeBy electronic tolling system provides motorists a discount on the toll across the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge and across the Bridge of the Gods in Cascade Locks. The BreezeBy is an easy to set up account and provides discount on tolls on the two bridges of Oregon.

How to open a BreezeBy Account

A new BreezeBy account can be created in the following ways

  • Online by clicking through this link[1]
  • Over the counter at either of the Port Office

Once the account is created, a transponder device is mailed within two business days. You will need to provide your vehicle license plate number as well as the make, model, and year handy when you set up your account. Once the account is set up it could be managed online

How does a BreezeBy toll transponder work

For BreezeBy customers, traveling on the toll lane in Cascade Locks, when approaching the toll plaza on the bridge, the same lanes as cash payment can be travelled on. The transponder is read at the toll plaza and the system will calculate the appropriate toll amount to your BreezeBy account.

For BreezeBy customers, traveling on the toll lane in Hood River, any of the four lanes at the toll plaza could be used, though the outside lanes are reserved for BreezeBy only. The transponder is read at the toll plaza and the system will calculate the appropriate toll amount to your BreezeBy account.
